Cannot access streaming service
Using ValeVPN, you can securely access many streaming services. However, you may need to make some changes to your device or ValeVPN app in order to gain secure streams from some providers. If the streaming website/app still isn’t working after connecting to the ValeVPN server, you could try some of the solutions listed below.
- Try other server locations.
If you need your streaming service to work and it’s not functioning after connecting to a server, why not try other locations? If the US servers aren’t doing the trick, maybe give European ones a go!
- Clear cache of your browser/app.
Some websites could still have access to the information your browser had stored. To get rid of it, try clearing your browser’s cache or uninstall and reinstall the app you use for streaming.
- Check if your connection to the ValeVPN server was successful.
Open the ValeVPN application and check the status of the connection. There can be three types: Secured, Unsecured, Connecting. You need the first one.
- Incognito mode.
Open the Incognito (Private Browsing) mode on your browser and go to the streaming website there.
You can launch the Incognito mode by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+N or CTRL+SHIFT+P on your keyboard.
- Turn off Location services (GPS)
If you’re attempting to stream something on your mobile phone, confirm that GPS location tracking is disabled. This is also true for some laptops/desktops!
- Restart your device and try again. This is the old tried and true – reboot your computer if you’re having problems. We can’t explain it, sometimes it just works 🙂
